Description
Description
- Melts snow as it falls - no shoveling, no salt: Switch all three on before the storm and the whole run stays clear instead of packing down. In typical snowfall temperatures (about 32°F down to 14°F) each surface holds well above freezing and clears its 10 x 30 inch step within a few hours. Nothing to spread on your concrete, nothing on your dog's paws.
- Built for more than one winter: Each of the three mats is 5mm flexible silicone that stays soft down to -22°F - no cracking, no curling, no stiff edges season after season - and spreads heat evenly with no cold strips. Every thermostat is rated for 50,000 on/off cycles, and the set carries a 2-year warranty we handle directly.
- Safe in wet, freezing conditions: Each mat runs on an ETL-certified grounded GFCI leakage-protection plug that cuts power the instant it senses a fault. Double insulation (sleeved heating wire inside seamless silicone) and IP67 connectors with a threaded nut secondary seal. Before each season press TEST, hand-tighten every connector nut, cap the open ends, and check they are dry inside.
- Covers a full staircase run: Three 10 x 30 inch mats handle a flight of steps, an entryway and a walkway - link them along the path or place them separately where you need them. Same high-friction anti-slip surface on every mat, with mounting holes if you want a permanent fix. Each cord exits at the side, out of your path.
- Plug them in and forget them: 80W per mat, each with a thermostat that switches the heat off once it reaches temperature, so a full 24-hour run is about 1.9 kWh per mat - and real usage is lower. Grounded cords are included for all three, each rolls into a compact coil for off-season storage, and one person lays them flat in minutes.
